As parents, caregivers, teachers, coaches and adults in the lives of kids, we can be the active role models young people need to shape their own healthy lifestyles. Adults serve as role models not only through direct interaction with young people, but also through the examples they set with their attitudes and behavior toward physical activity.
It's time for us to get moving and set the tone for physical activity for the next generation.
It's not always easy for us to find the time to fit physical activity into our busy schedules, but we can start working on that now.
